Contraindications:

  1. Cancer or Chemotherapy/Radiotherapy (within 2 years)
  2. Pregnancy or Breastfeeding
  3. Increased Bleeding Tendency (e.g., atherosclerosis, hemophilia)
  4. Multiple Sclerosis
  5. Autoimmune Disorders
  6. Immunocompromised Patients (e.g., HIV, AIDS)
  7. Renal Failure
  8. History of Seizures or Epilepsy
  9. Surgical or Metal Pins in the treatment area
  10. Active Herpes (in treatment area)
  11. Inflammatory Disorders (e.g., eczema, psoriasis)
  12. Diabetes Type 1 & 2
  13. Pacemakers & Internal Defibrillators
  14. Contagious Skin Disorders (e.g., impetigo, chickenpox)
  15. Vitiligo
  16. Hypoesthesia (numbness)
  17. History of Keloid Scarring
  18. High/Low Blood Pressure
  19. Lipoedema
  20. Raised Moles or Suspicious Pigmented Lesions
  21. Heart Disease/Cardiovascular Conditions
  22. Varicose & Spider Veins
  23. Hormonal Imbalance (e.g., PCOS)
  24. Cystic Acne and Rosacea (in treatment area)
  25. Liver Disease
  26. Excessive Alcohol Consumption
  27. Users of Oral Isotretinoin (in the last 6 months)
  28. Blood Thinners/Aspirin
  29. Use of Retin-A or Topical Acne Medication (in the last 2 weeks)
  30. Weight Loss Medication

 

Precautions:

  • Photosensitizing Medication (within 2 weeks)
  • Fake Tan (within the last 4 weeks)
  • Chronic Sun Exposure
  • Numbing Cream in the treatment area
  • Clients Aged Less Than 18 Years
  • Waxing, Plucking, Electrolysis (within 2 weeks)
  • IPL/Laser Hair Reduction (within last 2 weeks)
  • Superficial Chemical Peel, Microdermabrasion (within 2 weeks)
  • Laser Resurfacing/Cosmetic Surgery (within 3-6 months)
  • Allergies
